I don’t know all there is to know about anyone reading this article; however, I know God has been good to all of us!
The Lord gave us life, when we should have been dead; God put on the table, oftentimes we didn’t say the blessing; we are living in a zip code we can’t afford, we won’t even give Him glory; He watched over us while we slept in a strangers bed, we didn’t even thank Him; kept you on the highway when you were tipsy, you didn’t pause to say much obliged; — God has been good to us!
Joshua chapter 4 records the Israelites placing stones in the Jordan River as a memorial for God’s deliverance.
The Israelites have just crossed the Jordan River; God took the riverbed and turned it into a roadway.
The Lord now commands Joshua to have twelve men, one from every tribe of Israel, to take a stone from the river and carry it to the camp; these stones were to serve as a memorial.
God wanted the people to remember what He did at the Jordan and to pass that remembrance to future generations.
Their actions condemn our lack of action, as there is power in our story.
The prayers the Lord has answer, the burdens He’s lifted, the doors He’s opened, hearts He’s mended, and ways He has made — we need to tell it.
We share reels and shorts; we need to share what the Lord has done!!!
Think about this, there is power in our story because somebody else needs to know what God has done for us, He’ll do the same thing for them.
Moreover, some of us need to be reminded, God took care of us then and He’ll take care of us now.
Brothers and sisters, there is a history to our hallelujah — we ought to tell it!
