The Tangled String Music & Arts Festival is striking a bold new chord this year as it relocates to John Hunt Park on October 3–4, 2025. Previously held at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, the popular festival is expanding its footprint and partnering with the Huntsville Music Office to reach more audiences across the city.
Organizers say the new location will allow for larger performance areas, immersive art installations, and increased access for families, music lovers, and regional vendors. Founded by Danny Davis of Tangled String Studios, the festival has long celebrated Alabama’s rich musical talent and creative spirit.
“We’re excited to help reimagine the festival in a place that offers wide open skies and endless opportunities,” said Matt Mandrella, Huntsville’s Music Officer.
The 2025 festival will feature a lineup of local and regional artists across genres—from indie rock to folk and soul—as well as food trucks, art exhibits, and community-led performances. With the expansion into John Hunt Park, the festival promises to deepen its role as one of Huntsville’s most inclusive cultural gatherings.
As the city continues investing in public art, live music infrastructure, and outdoor spaces, Tangled String’s move reflects a broader commitment to making Huntsville a premier destination for artists and audiences alike.
