ATHENS, AL — Get your appetite ready! Athens Main Street is rolling out the 3rd Annual Downtown Athens Culinary Month this August, presented by Dream Key Real Estate. The culinary celebration invites residents and visitors to explore a wide range of downtown eateries through special dishes, new menu offerings, and unique promotions — all designed to spotlight the rich and diverse dining scene that has fueled the city’s revitalization.

Since making restaurant development a top priority in 2019, Athens Main Street has overseen significant growth in the area’s food offerings, transforming downtown into a must-visit destination for food lovers. “This month gives us the opportunity to showcase the talented chefs and restaurateurs who have chosen to invest in downtown Athens and create these wonderful gathering places for our community,” said Executive Director Tere Richardson.
