What makes a company a great place to work in Huntsville? According to IronMountain Solutions CEO Hank Isenberg, it’s all about employee-first values.
“There are a lot of categories you have to consider—good morale, strong insurance benefits, flexible schedules, and an HR department that truly supports your employees,” Isenberg said in an interview with AL.com. “It’s across the board.”
Isenberg’s words are backed by results. Based on more than 8,000 confidential employee surveys across nearly 200 companies, IronMountain Solutions was named Best Place to Work among Huntsville’s largest employers at the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber’s 2025 Best Places to Work Awards, held Tuesday at the Von Braun Center.
A Culture of Consistency and Excellence
IronMountain Solutions took home the Gold Award in the category for companies with 251 or more employees—its sixth first-place finish and 10th overall win, earning the company a coveted place in the Chamber’s Best Places to Work Hall of Fame. Only three other companies share this honor: Intuitive Research & Technology, Modern Technology Solutions, Inc., and People Tech.
“Our employees and our culture are our driving force,” Isenberg said in accepting the award. “We’ve finally got it down. Now we’ve got to give space for other people to win.”

Why These Companies Stand Out
The Chamber’s Vice President of Image Development, Claire Aiello, explained that winners are selected based on employee satisfaction metrics provided by an independent firm.
“These companies prioritize retention. They don’t just hire good people—they keep them,” Aiello said. “They pay attention to the surveys, and they use that feedback to improve.”
Isenberg agrees. “Over the years, I read the surveys and pay attention,” he said. “We try to make sure we are servicing the parts that the people care about.”

Several companies also received recognition for health and wellness initiatives, including:
- Integration Innovation, Inc.
