The Village Green at Clift Farm is preparing for a full calendar of spring and summer events, and organizers are inviting Madison residents to help bring those experiences to life.
From farmers and artists to musicians and classic car enthusiasts, Village Green at Clift Farm is now accepting participants for a growing lineup of free, family-friendly events designed to encourage outdoor gatherings and community connection.
“The Village Green at Clift Farm is really an outdoor gathering space where friends, families and locals can come together,” said Whitney Bonfim, events coordinator for Clift Farm. “People are coming for more than one thing. They’re coming to be part of the community.”
Located at the heart of the 550-acre Clift Farm development along U.S. 72, the Village Green serves as a central hub for events highlighting local talent, small businesses and neighborhood interaction. Bonfim said keeping events accessible is a key priority.
“Everything we do is about getting people involved,” she said. “It’s free for artists to show their work and free for families to come enjoy the space. We want people to feel like this belongs to them.”
Several recurring events are now open for registration. Cruise Into Village Green car meets will begin in March and take place one Saturday each month from 9 a.m. to noon, welcoming both classic and modern vehicles. Tuesday farmers markets will run from May through October from 4 to 7 p.m., featuring local growers, producers and live music.
First Thursday Art Walks will launch in May and continue monthly through October, beginning with a showcase of student artwork from Madison County and Madison City Schools. Additional programming includes outdoor yoga, children’s story time, movie nights on the lawn and seasonal community events.
Bonfim said strong turnout at past events showed residents want more local activities during the week.
“People want something close to home where they can make an evening out of it,” she said.
Participation forms are available on the Village Green at Clift Farm website, with full schedules to be announced closer to spring.
