HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Rap legend Lil Wayne is bringing his 2025 tour back to Alabama with a newly announced performance at Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater on Sept. 24, marking his second appearance in the state this year.

Known for hits like “Lollipop,” “Mrs. Officer,” and “She Will,” the New Orleans-born artist will take the Orion stage just months after performing at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena in May. His return comes shortly after the release of his highly anticipated 14th studio album, “Tha Carter IV,” dropping June 6.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the Orion box office (701 Amphitheater Drive NW) and theorionhuntsville.com. Pricing will be revealed during the first round of pre-sales starting Wednesday.

Support acts include fellow rapper Tyga, known for hits like “Rack City” and “Faded” (with Wayne), and Atlanta’s own Belly Gang Kushington.

This fall concert follows another major New Orleans hip-hop event at Orion — the “No Limit Soldiers” reunion tour headlined by Master P on June 27, continuing the venue’s strong 2025 season lineup.
