The Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries, Decatur Alabama Men of Vision, wished our beloved pastor, Pastor Emma White, a blessed Happy Valentine’s Day on Sunday, February 12. Pastor White was showered with pink and red roses, following “Expressions of Love” from the men’s ministry, moderated by Elder Samuel Bouldin.

Pastor Emma White, affectionately known as “Ma Emma,” was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. She was the seventh born of eight children and grew up in a nurturing, loving home with devoted Christian parents. Even as a very young child, God’s calling and prophetic anointing were so strong that she was often pulled in front of crowds and asked if and would give an accurate prophetic Word of Wisdom.

As she grew older, Pastor White excelled spiritually and academically and was known for her many gifts and talents, especially in the arts. Fluent in French, a prolific and gifted author and play writer, singer, actress, artistic designer, and a woman Of God with a warm smile and compassionate heart for people, Pastor Emma was often and still is an excellent light in various public forums. Pastor White has graced many great stages with her gifts and talents, including being crowned Miss Jackson State University, the first Miss Black Mississippi, and performing in numerous Broadway Plays and television mediums.

After overcoming incredible challenges in her personal life through prayer, faith in God, and sheer determination, including raising four children as a single parent, Pastor White met and married the late Bishop Paul James White. Pastor White and her late husband founded Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries with just eight members.

Pastor Emma White worked with her husband for eight years to build the ministry and, more importantly, to bring the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. As the church approached its ninth year, full-fledged Pastorship was passed on to Pastor Emma White.

Whether the task involves pasturing, teaching, preaching, evangelizing, or prophetic ministry, Pastor Emma White is God’s chosen anointed vessel. She oversees the Drama Ministry and Ministerial Education of Redeeming Love Outreach Ministries. She maintains an active schedule as a full-time Teacher, Pastor, and highly sought-after Minister for conferences, retreats, workshops, seminars, and revivals, to name a few.

Pastor Emma White received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and a Liberal Arts degree in Theatre from Jackson State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She later received her Master’s Degree in Multiple Learning Handicaps from Alabama A&M University. She has worked for the Morgan County Board of Education for over thirty-nine years and received numerous awards and recognitions, including “Teacher of the Year” and “Most Outstanding Young Educator of Alabama.” Pastor White serves as Vice Moderator for the ‘No Wall’ Ministerial Alliance of Decatur.

On January 27, 2023, The Mark White Radio Show recently gave a legacy award to Pastor Emma White at Danville High School, named after her “The Emma White Legacy Teaching Award,” for outstanding excellence in teaching education at Danville High School in Morgan county. The host, Mark White, stated that Pastor White saved his brother during difficult times at the Boys Ranch in his youth. She was given $500. Every year, the “Emma White Legacy Teaching Award” will be awarded to teachers who make a difference in their student’s lives, including a $500 monetary award.

She is the proud mother of four daughters – Jemeana (Demond) Roberson, Knegleshia (Corey) Cobb, Terra (Juni) Smothers, Canderiah Smothers and is the grandmother of nine, Zoie, Darrion, Morgyn, Zyan, Madisyn, Kyndall, Jabin, Zeah, and Tezara.
